Kolob

We got away for the weekend. We don't get out of town too often--it's a lot of work with four kids! Kade was headed up to Kolob to help his dad build a shed so we all tagged along. The kids had a blast playing outside. They four wheeled, helped with projects, played games, watched movies and ate a lot of candy.

The happy crew. It was fairly cold outside until Monday so Jayde and I stayed in the cabin a lot, but she did come out for a walk and photo shoot once!
The story goes that there was a census fella on the mountain and he locked himself out of his truck. He stopped by our cabin and waited for Kade and Rhett to come and help him. He thought he was going to have to use their tools to break his window, but Rhett was able to slide his hand down between the truck and camper shell and was able to get the guy back in his truck without breaking the window. He came back the next day with bubbles and a frisbee to tell Rhett thanks. Nice guy. And a lesson learned--you won't escape the census. Just mail it back!

Rhett and Addy took numerous four wheeler outings. He liked the freedom; she loved the four wheeler.

I only get select few and very random pictures of Kade. They were able to frame and sheet the whole shed!
